"Pilates is something my body needed for a long time. Pilates not only helps to strengthen your body, but also improves flexibility and lengthens the muscle.I have always had stiff hip issues and flexibility problems. Shaazia helped me with my postures and breathing techniques. She and the instructors at The PAD also helped me gain core strength, become more flexible and improve my overall balance.
Its been a few months of workout at The PAD and my experience has been so much fun, challenging and at the same time extremely motivating.

"I stumbled upon thepaddxb’s instagram page one day while looking for an instructor to continue my fitness with while on vacation in Dubai. After an email exchange with the lovely Shaazia I was convinced to try it out.

Right from our initial correspondence till the very last day of training, Shaazia was extremely perceptive to my needs. "After having tried walking, cycling, running, yoga intermittently I stumbled upon Pilates! Have read books and followed several Pilates youtubers but no one comes close to Yasmin Karachiwala in her precise instructions to move the body with breath control. Hence, I was one of the first to join when she opened her studio The Pad in Dubai!
Here I realized the importance of having an instructor continuously checking your form (shoulder down, back upright, toes flex, neutral pelvis amongst the many) and managing breath makes a huge difference! Something one can’t achieve merely following videos.
I have taken only 15 odd classes as yet with Shaazia Qureishi (Pilates certified instructor n learned/worked with Yasmin) and have seen a considerable change in my body!
